LOL. Then again, maybe the Turtles could have racing marks like Rollerbeetles...

That's tortoises that are slow. Turtles can be quite fast. The only reason Siege Turtles are slow is because of their large size.

Lugging a howitzer and spare ammunition on their backs can't be of much help... not to mention trying to give them orders since they don't wear earplugs when those cannons go off above just above their heads

When I first got my monument tapestery, I only had a pet black moa. I tried adding some of my heroes but had no alternate armours for them so I couldn't. The only optionsI could add were Black Moa and Animal Companion, so I added both.

Ok, checked whether spidey showed up in HoM and all that appears is the big, fugly statue that says "Animal Companion". Screenie of this below. I only had the one pet prior to getting the phoenix, and the animal companion statue attests that I did indeed add her to the mix of heroes I had on display. Rearranging what heroes are displayed on the stage does not matter - only the fugly statue appears. No idea if this is a bug, but I'm very disappointed that spidey will never grace my HoM again.

I'm very tempted to cap the Rainbow Phoenix for myself, but I know I would be sad if I lost my pet wolf Lupin all the way from pre searing (18 months ago).

Question

I was gonna ask these questions in a new thread but this seems like the right place to ask, so here goes:

1. Can someone confirm for me if it is possible to display both the unique pets and the generic pets on the monument of fellowship?

2. Do you lose your pet in game if you choose to display it?

3. And because you can display up to 5 statues, does this mean you could have 5 generic pet statues on that monument or any other combination, eg: the 3 unique + 2 generic ?

4. And finally, does the generic statue still indicate with text which animal it was regardless of whether the statue depicts them or not? eg: "Polar Bear" or "Crocodile"

Thanks in advance to whoever answers my questions.

Yes, you can have both the Animal Companion monument (the generic one that display the bear, stalker and boar) and the unique pets displayed. At the same time if you want.

No.

You can only have one copy of the Animal Companion monument. So you can have at most 4 pet statues displayed - the generic monument, the black moa, the imperial phoenix and the black widow.

No, it just says Animal Companion.

Hope that helps.

I cananswer some of these for you:

1. Can someone confirm for me if it is possible to display both the unique pets and the generic pets on the monument of fellowship?

Yes this is possible. Some one in this very thread said that they in fact got an animal companion statue AND a Black Moa satue for just putting up their Black Moa.

2. Do you lose your pet in game if you choose to display it?

Definitely not. I put up my Rainbow Phoenix and he is still following me around.

3. And because you can display up to 5 statues, does this mean you could have 5 generic pet statues on that monument or any other combination, eg: the 3 unique + 2 generic ?

Not sure on this one - Edit - answered by poster before me a "no".

4. And finally, does the generic statue still indicate with text which animal it was regardless of whether the statue depicts them or not? eg: "Polar Bear" or "Crocodile"

No - It just says "Animal Companion" which is rather disappointing in my opinion.

This has not been the case for me. My spider was added to this shrine but all that is displayed is the Animal Companion monument. An earlier post shows several elite pets being displayed - I'd like to to know how these pets are listed in the Fellowship status menu. Is each pet listed, or does it just say Animal Companion?

Hmmz, so pets and heroes are randomly displayed together on the monument, or in two seperate groups? If they're together that could take a lot of time clicking Rearrange to get the correct 5 Hero/Pet combo you want displayed >.<

Each pet is listed, as well as animal companion if it has been added.

You can click for an eternity and not get the setup you want. Basically, rearranging rotates statues in and out in a set order, offering only a very limited combination of displays. Rather disappointing, I hope they fix it so we can just pick the five we want, somehow.
